Kaytee is a spunky, pleasant and talented designer with excellent production skills. Packaging, branding, print and web projects are executed thoughtfully and beautifully with attention to detail, timeline and budget. Her work ethic is impressive, as are her software skills. She tested exceptional (4/5) in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. She understands the concept of standards-based web designs and her interface aesthetic shows it. Kaytee is available full or part time, temporarily or permanently.
Beth has wow’d every C2 client who has hired her. She’s autonomous, knowledgeable and can attack any project with an experienced perspective. Art director/graphic designer/production artist, Lizbeth can handle multiple projects from concept to final file production. She tested exceptional (4/5) in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop; she knows HTML, CSS and Dreamweaver (but hasn’t been tested by C2 yet). Her portfolio showed examples of corporate identity, collateral, packaging, Word and PowerPoint templates, website designs, email blasts and blog creations. Beth is available part-time for projects, interim assignments or on a direct hire basis.
Marina is a an aspiring front end developer with an infectious, positive/can-do attitude. She was inspired to learn programming after working with medical billing software that lacked user friendliness and was difficult to learn. Marina’s portfolio demonstrated a natural aptitude for design and development including .net and c#, a rare find, especially because she hasn’t taken design courses. We think she’d thrive in an environment with art direction and a strong workflow to which she could contribute on both the front and back end as needed. She tested exceptional (4/5) on our web assessment which focuses on HTML and CSS. Hungry, curious and highly motivated, she’s currently building sites in React and WordPress. Marina is available full- or part-time, temporarily or permanently.
Nick is a web wiz, who is as comfortable in the role of strategist or software engineer as he is as a web designer. He most recently served as an instructor at DevCodeCamp, building curriculum and teaching LAMP and MEAN stack development, HTML/CSS, Node, Express, Angular and ReactJS. He also served the organization in a marketing and SEO capacity, using WordPress, Canvas and Github/Git. His desire to share knowledge prompted him to lead MKE WEB, a local web meet up which he successfully promotes and manages. Nick is a glutton for research and analysis and really thrived in the research projects he found as internships. Nick is available full or part-time, temp or permanent. Left and right brained, he’s also articulate, driven and likable.
Brandon was impressive for an entry-level full stack developer. He tested really well in a wide range of software: exceptional+ (4.5/5) in Illustrator & web, professional (3/5) in Photoshop, InDesign and After Effects. Articulate and engaging, he presented hand-coded sample sites that are thorough, well-designed (for a developer) and intuitive. He boasts an impressive list of software, CMSs and coding languages too extensive to include here. Brandon would prefer a position that’s full time permanent, but is open to projects and other options.
Courtney, a witty senior copywriter and ACD, recently moved back to Milwaukee from LA, she must have been sick of all that year-round sun, sand and sexy M&C Saatchi work. She returns with a strong book of video, print and digital on which she lead content development, art and/or creative direction. She served on the digital team, developing strategy and providing content for everything from Instagram and Facebook posts to on-point scripts for a spoof campaign discouraging fad dieting (video and microsite). Her work and resume reinforced my first impressions of her: sharp and intuitive with a great sense of style. She won’t be on the market long, she’s the real deal. Courtney is available full or part time, temp or perm, preference for perm.
Mike is a non-traditional copywriting candidate who has spent most of his career in and around professional performers, including quite a few comedians. After a successful career in LA, he returns to Milwaukee (and snow!). He offers a history of award winning work and can really entertain. He’s quick-witted, articulate, absorbs and applies feedback well. His time in improv forged his ideation skills – he has an aptitude for providing a flurry of ideas, fast. The examples in his portfolio were clever, quickly-concepted and well executed – including the graphics. Mike is ready to work hard and contribute. Plus he’s got jokes…and some pretty outstanding connections. Mike is available temp or perm, full or part time.
