It’s that time of year again! Pumpkin spice, beautiful fall colors – and the annual C2 Bottle Drop!
Islands of Brilliance is an organization that creates art, design, and technology workshop curricula for neurodiverse students on the autism spectrum. Every year IoB holds an event in November called Colors & Chords, a fundraiser that pairs local bands with prominent local artists onstage for a 30 minute set. In addition, multiple participatory art installations are staged in the balcony, inviting audience members to engage in art and creativity throughout the evening. Money raised at the event helps sustain existing programming, develop new STEM related programming, provide scholarships, and help with new equipment purchases. This year’s fundraiser is on Thursday, November 10th – read more about the event here!
As a grateful thank you for each (non GLD) bottle donated, you get a ticket good for $2 off any craft cocktail that evening. If you purchase a bottle at Great Lakes, you get $3 off your purchase! Win-win!
Let’s toast to Milwaukee’s outstanding and generous creative and business communities!
