Join C2 and 88Nine Radio Milwaukee for an insightful panel discussion with C-Suite women in the creative community, then raise a toast at our third Happiest Hour!
A year ago C2, Milwaukee’s only woman-owned creative staffing firm, hosted our first “The Happiest Hour! Celebrating Women in Milwaukee’s Creative Industry” event. It was a casual networking event celebrating the current and future female leaders of Milwaukee’s marketing, design and advertising community.
Due to the amazing response, we held a second Happiest Hour in May. Both events drew over 150 creative professionals and were a strong visual representation of the powerful community of women in advertising, marketing and design.
The enthusiasm and excitement of participants of those two events inspired us to partner with 88Nine Radio Milwaukee to celebrate AND EDUCATE with another event on Tuesday, August 21st.
This time, we’re starting with “She Leads! A Discussion with C-Suite Creative Women,” a panel conversation from 3:00 to 4:30pm, rolling into our Happiest Hour Rooftop Networking from 4:30 to 7:30pm.
When: Tuesday, August 21st
Where: 88Nine Radio Milwaukee, 220 E. Pittsburgh Avenue (cash valet will be available)
3:00-4:30pm: She Leads! A Discussion with C-Suite Creative Women
Emily Phillips, a connector, activist and dynamic speaker, will be our moderator. Our panel will focus on diversity and inclusion issues in the Milwaukee creative community. We’ll hear each woman’s story, how they moved up their own career ladder, and then we’ll discuss solutions for helping young women, people of color and other marginalized groups as they forge ahead in their own creative careers.

Our Event Charity Partner – “No Empty Backpacks” Initiative
with 88Nine Radio Milwaukee
As the summer sun sets on the month of August, parents are busy buying school supplies for the upcoming school year. The excitement of a new backpack and clean notebook are universal to students.
But many local parents experience a harsh reality when facing the first day of school. Not from the absence of their children after the summer break, but that they cannot afford the supplies their kids need to start the academic year.
Throughout August, 88Nine Radio will be collecting donations for their “No Empty Backpacks School Supplies Drive.” We encourage all guests coming to the Happiest Hour to bring a backpack and/or school supplies to donate to this worthy cause.
