Our Event Charity Partner – Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Jane Stein, 2018 Candidate for LLS Woman of the Year
Jane Stein, Milwaukee Magazine Account Executive, has been nominated as a candidate for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Woman of the Year. Her goal is to raise $100,000 between March 27th and June 9th for Blood Cancer Research. That’s right – $100,000 in ten weeks!
In her words, “When I was initially approached for this opportunity, I jumped at the chance as I have always been active with fundraising and enjoy a friendly competition. However, through this journey I have met many survivors, families and children whose lives have been impacted by blood cancers. Their stories, their triumphs and their losses have made me passionate about the need for a cure.”
Jane will be joining us at Black Sheep with more information about how you can support this great fundraiser. If you can’t make the event but would still like to donate, you can easily do so at Jane’s MWOY Funding Page.
